  • Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree in the same discipline with at least 78% marks from a recognised university.

Eligibility for MBA in India 

For pursuing an MBA in India, at least a 3-year bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% for SC/ST or persons with disabilities (PWD) category, of any of the Universities) or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India is required for admission. After completing higher secondary schooling, the applicant must pursue a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification that entails a minimum of three years of study. If the applicants are given grades/CGPA instead of points, the equivalence will be determined by the equivalence approved by the university/institution where they received their bachelor’s degree. Apart from that, entrance exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, IIFT, MAT, GMAT, SNAP etc. are also required for the admission process along with GDPI procedures. 

Eligibility of MBA in IIMs

  • Candidates must have completed their 10+2 in any subject with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognised Board.
  • Graduation from a recognised university with at least a 50% average is required. For candidates from the ST/SC categories, the minimum score will be relaxed by 5%.
  • For international students, aspirants must pass tests such as the Common Admission Test (CAT) and the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
  • Shortlisted candidates may also be invited to participate in Group Discussions or Personal Interviews.
  • The average fee for an MBA course at IIM ranges from INR 8,00,000 to INR 25,00,000.

Eligibility of MBA in IGNOU

  • Candidates seeking admission to IGNOU MBA programmes must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% from a recognised Board.
  • applicants from the general category must have a bachelor’s degree in any area with at least 50%, while applicants from the reserved categories must have 45%.
  • Candidates must pass the OPENMAT Eligibility Test, which is administered at the national level, with a score of at least 65.
