Eligibility

Those wishing to pursue a BTech in civil engineering from a reputed institute have to meet the following criteria:

• The students should have completed 10+2 (preferably in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) from a recognized board with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the above subjects.
• Students with a Diploma Degree after their SSC/HSC exams are also eligible for a BTech in the civil engineering programme.
• Additionally, the aspirants have to secure qualifying marks in the entrance exams such as JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, WBJEE, UPSEE, and BITSAT.
• To apply for Btech in Civil Engineering abroad, some foreign universities might require SAT scores, along with an English proficiency certificate in IELTS/TOEFL/ PTE. Additionally, students are required to submit a Statement of Purpose and a Letter of Recommendation.
