      In order to seek admission in a DNS course, the candidate must first meet the basic eligibility criteria which is: to be passed in (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% and with 50% marks in English language at 10th or 12th std exam.

    1. Hey, Pj Matthew. The name of the course is Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS). It is a one year diploma course that can lead a student to B.sc Nautical science. However, for this the student has to complete 18 years of sea service. The diploma can also lead to Certificate of Competency (CoC) awarded by the Ministry of Shipping. Thus, enabling the students to become navigating officers. To be eligible for this course the student will have to clear the entrance exam. Merit based admissions are also possible.
