BITS Pilani Updates At a Glance
The last date to pay the first-degree hostel fee under the Board Toppers Scheme at BITS Pilani was 3rd August 2023. All the students who successfully paid the fee before this date will be allowed to attend the classes in September 2023. The BITSAT session II was conducted from 18th June to 22nd June 2023 in online mode.

BITS Pilani Fees
The BITS Pilani fee structure is divided into different segments; semester/term fees, hostel fees for on-campus students, mess and electricity advance fees, and other expenses. The fee structure at BITS Pilani is annually revised by the officials.
During the BITS Pilani registration process, male applicants need to make an online payment of INR 3400 and for female applicants, the registration fee is INR 2900. Before we discuss the entire fee structure at BITS Pilani, here are some important instructions that students need to follow.
- Whenever a student’s course gets modified or there is a delay beyond their maximum permissible period, they need to consult the concerned department before completing the registration.
- All the payments, including the tuition fee, hostel fee and mess expenses are to be paid in advance of every semester. Students are not entitled to a refund if they withdraw from a course or courses.
- Students opting for Practice School II will be charged the semester and summer term fees, as the duration of the practice school is longer than the semester.
- The fees for Casual students are equal to what it is for regular students.
- Institute caution deposits will be refunded only when students complete their courses.
- For students who have any dues left, their grades will be withheld.

The total fee for a BTech course at BITS Pilani is INR 5.72 lacs. At BITS Pilani, there are specifications in the BTech course, where the annual tuition fee varies for each specialization.
As of 2023, there are a total of 4 BITS Pilani campuses, one in UAE; Dubai and three in India; Goa, Pilani and Hyderabad. All these campuses are known for their quality education and world-class features in both academic and non-academic activities.
