West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam or WBJEE is conducted by WBJEEB(West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board) to offer admission to aspirants who wish to pursue a degree in Engineering. It is a state-level exam. This entrance exam is conducted in offline mode for all programs such as B.Tech, B.Pharma and other self-financing courses at West Bengal Universities. There are nearly 1.8 Lakh test takers every year with 102 accepting colleges across the state.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria is given by the WBJEEB for candidates who wish to apply for the WBJEE. We have mentioned the eligibility criteria below: 

  • Students must be of Indian nationality
  • Students must be 17 years as of December 31, 2021
  • There is no upper age limit

For BTech

  • Students must have cleared class 12 from a recognized board with Physics and Maths and one of the subjects from the list below as a compulsory subject –
  • Students must have passed in both theory and practicals of class 12 boards.
  • Students must have cleared 12th from a recognized board.
  • Students must have secured at least 45% in the subjects mentioned above and 30% in English.

How to Apply for WBJEE ?

  • Register through the official site: Log on to the official website and Apply Online. Fill in the required details to get a unique id and password to go further with the application process.
  • Application Form:  After successful registration, candidates must fill the application form and make the payment.
