Duration of LLM
LLM courses are typically two years long, although some colleges are now offering LLM degrees in one year. After earning their LLB, or bachelor’s degree in law, students can pursue an LLM. Eligibility Criteria for LLM
Educational requirements – The candidate must have a three-year or five-year LLB degree from a recognized university.
Candidates in their last year/semester of graduation are also eligible to participate in the LLM admissions process. They must, however, have achieved the qualification by the time they reach the final step of the admission procedure.
Minimal qualifying marks – The criteria for minimal qualifying marks in the qualifying examination differ by college. In the case of NLUs, general category candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks. SC and ST applicants must have an aggregate score of at least 45%.
