The SSB full form is Services Selection Board. An organisation that is responsible for assessing candidates for their selection as officers in the Indian Armed Forces, it covers exams such as the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE); National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (NDA & NA Exam); and Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). The board takes into consideration the conventional framework of assessment, which includes meetings, insight assessments, and character assessments. Further, assignment-based tests and composed tests are the two types of test assessment.
