The Tata Education and Development Trust has established a $25 million endowment allowing Cornell University to provide financial aid to 20 undergraduate scholars from India at any given time. Here is all you need to know about the Ratan Tata Scholarship for Engineering students:

  • The Ratan Tata Scholarship for Engineering Students is awarded annually to students for the specific duration of their undergraduate studies at Cornell University.
  • The scholarship amount can only be used for tuition fees.
  • The five-year program in Architecture requires 10 semesters of full-time enrollment, funding is provided up to 8 semesters only. 
  • In the case of additional semesters due to dual degrees or double majors, funding is not available.

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship 

Funded by a charitable organization based in Bangalore, SJF Scholarship can pave your way to your dream course. It is a merit-cum-means based scholarship for BTech students across the country. The students falling in the bracket of class 11th to postgraduate courses can apply for this scholarship for pursuing a BTech or any other technical/ non-technical course. In this scheme, there are six categories i.e., from category A to F. Depending upon your level of study you will be receiving financial aid of 500 INR to 2500 INR every month. 

RD Sethna Loan Scholarship 

This scholarship is not only for those aspiring for higher education in India but also for those planning to opt for overseas education. It is exclusively for those aspiring to study courses in the field of science, commerce, and industrial studies as well as technical programs in India or abroad. This scholarship offers assistance through loans and is a popular scholarship for BTech students. Those who register for this one must have qualified the class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks. Out of the total applications, only a handful of candidates are selected and awarded 10,000 INR or more. 

ONGC Scholarship Scheme for OBC Category Students 2022

Available exclusively for the OBC students, the ONGC Scholarship Scheme aims to provide financial aid not only to the BTech students but also to those planning to study courses like PhD, MBBS, MBA, PGDM etc. Every month, the total amount of 4,000 INR is awarded to each qualifying candidate making it a total of Rs 48,000 per year. It is a suitable scholarship for BTech students belonging to the OBC category and selects only 500 candidates from the long list of applicants.

Concord Biotech Limited Scholarship for BE/ BTech Students 

The esteemed organisation named Concord Biotech Limited offers a wide range of scholarship schemes for Indian students. This scholarship is BE and BTech students and applicants with a record-breaking academic background are usually chosen thus the selection is largely carried out on the basis of merit.
