Richard A. Freund International Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) which is specifically designed to support international students who are enrolled in a master’s or doctorate mandatory in the fields of Engineering and Statistics. These students are required to work on quality assurance, total quality management, quality control, and quality improvement. The major eligibility for the Richard A. Freund International scholarship is to have a GPA above 3.25 in the previous qualifications (undergraduate or master). Significantly, any applicant is not a member of the American Society for Quality. All the applicants are required to submit a complete application form before the application deadline, which is April 2023. This scholarship is available to all eligible students enrolled at any university to pursue higher education abroad. Under this scholarship program, students are awarded a one-time payment of USD 5000 (INR 4.14 lakh).

Eligibility Requirements 

If you want to get benefits of the Richard A. Freund International Scholarship then you are required to qualify for the eligibility requirements as follows:

• First, you must have a minimum score of GPA 3.25 or above throughout your UG and PG degree.
• You are then required to pursue a master’s or higher level of education.
• The study must be in the field of quality assurance, total quality management, quality control, and quality improvement.
• Another major eligibility is that you must not be a member of ASQ.
• All these applicants currently are not allowed to attend high school (international students).

Application Process 

Students are only able to enroll in the scholarship program after the successful submission of a document indicating the proper acceptance of enrollment into the programs, as mentioned earlier. You are required to submit a separate online application that is required to be filled available on ASQ’s website.
