These Reliance Foundation Scholars are meant to lead and stand at the forefront of India’s technological growth. First-year undergraduate and postgraduate students from institutes across India pursuing degree programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics and Computing, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering are eligible to apply.

• Reliance Foundation aims at nurturing India’s talented youth that possesses the potential to become the future leaders of tomorrow’s society.
• The Reliance Foundation Scholarships focus on identifying and approving the best and the brightest students and selecting the best and brightest students in India by undergoing a rigorous and competitive selection process.
• Welcome students of all socioeconomic backgrounds as the scholarships are granted based on merit.
• More than 60 undergraduates and 40 postgraduate applicants are selected.
• At the undergraduate level, the scholarship amount is estimated to be more than INR 4 lakhs over the duration. 
• At the postgraduate level, the scholarship amount is estimated to be more than INR 6 lakhs over the duration.
• The foundation provides almost 80% of the funds at the start of each academic year that can be used for tuition and direct academic expenses however the remaining 20% of the funds are granted upon request for supporting professional development, such as indirect academic and personal development expenses, or conference related expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

Reliance Foundation every year invites first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students who are currently enrolled on full-time eligible degrees programs such as in artificial intelligence, mathematics, computing, electrical engineering, and computer sciences are eligible to apply. 

• You are required to be a resident Indian citizen to get Reliance Foundation scholarships.
• You must also fulfil the academic criteria that are available on the official website.
• You must be currently enrolled full-time in an eligible degree programme in AI/CS/M&C/EEE.
• If you are selected for the undergraduate scholarship then you can avail of other partial scholarships as well. 
• At the Postgraduate level, applicants are required to provide the basic details of financial benefits from other sources. Further, The Scholarship programme policy only permits stipends from other sources maximum of Rs 15,000 per month during the scholarship period.

Application Process

The application process for Reliance Foundation Scholarships is quite simple and the application for the same will be closed on 16th  February 2023.

• Click “Apply Now” at the top of the page.
• The application portal will open automatically.
• Fill out the application form with all of the requested information.
• Upload all of the documents listed above in the formats and sizes specified by the authorities.
• Because there is no registration charge, the application will be sent immediately as the candidate touches the submit button. As a result, candidates should review the form.
• After completing the application process, click “Submit.”

Selection Process

After the application process when you are shortlisted. The selection process is as follows:

UG Selection Process

• The online aptitude exam is required of all applicants.
• The test will last 60 minutes and will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions.
• The test includes components such as verbal ability, analytical and logical ability, and numerical ability.
• Level One Selection– Aptitude test scores, as well as academic and personal information, will be used to evaluate applications.
• Scholars Announcement – 5,000 academics are possible.
• All candidates will be evaluated on the basis of merit along with other factors.
• The Scholars will be named in March 2023.

PG Selection Process

• All applicants must complete the online aptitude test.
• The test will last 60 minutes and will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions.
• The test includes verbal ability, analytical and logical ability, and numerical ability as components.
• Stage of evaluation– Applications will be evaluated by an experienced team of industry experts, academicians, and field leaders.
• Interview Stage– Webinars for interview preparation will be held for all candidates.
• The expert panel will conduct interviews virtually.
• A total of 100 scholars will be chosen.
• All candidates will be evaluated based on their merit.

Benefits of the Reliance Foundation Scholarships

The Reliance Foundation prize is worth a maximum of Rs.6 lakh to each nominee. Of course, the amount is determined by the candidate’s educational fees and the level at which they are studying.

Undergraduate students would receive a grant of up to Rs.4 lakhs for the duration of their degree. Postgraduate students would be eligible for funding of up to Rs.6 lakh.

This scholarship will not be renewed, and the monies will be deposited into the beneficiary’s account for the duration of his or her academic career.

Candidates must supply details about their bank account while applying for the position. The funds will be deposited straight into the accounts mentioned in the application. All payments will be made using a secure internet transfer window.
