How the Awardees are Selected?

The selection process was highly competitive, with nearly 40,000 applicants studying at over 4,984 educational institutions vying for the scholarships.

It involved a rigorous assessment that considered the candidates’ aptitude test scores, Class 12 marks, and other eligibility criteria. Also, the scholars include 99 students with disability and 51 % are females.

Jagannatha Kumar, CEO of Reliance Foundation, expressed his excitement about the diverse group of scholars selected this year. He stated, ” We congratulate every selected scholar and are confident that they will build a strong future for themselves while contributing to India’s progress.”

Last December, Reliance Foundation made a commitment to award 50,000 scholarships over the next decade. Since 1996, the foundation has already granted the Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarships to nearly 13,000 undergraduate students based on merit and financial need, including 2,720 scholars with disabilities.

So, the announcement of the chosen Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholars for 2022-23 is expected in July.
