The basic admission requirements for students to get into Rutgers University are-

  • Foreign language: 2 years of one language
  • Mathematics: Three years, including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II
  • Science: 2 years (one year each of Biology and Chemistry for the School of Nursing)
  • Other courses: 5 other academic courses

  2. Pay the $70 application fee online or by mail.
  3. Submit your Self-Reported Academic Record (required for current high school students).
  4. Submit your official high-school transcript and/or GED results (required for high school graduates and GED holders).
  5. While test scores are not required to apply, you may submit SAT/ACT test scores directly from the testing agency to Rutgers.
