About  MD Pharmacology

Doctorate of medicine or MD pharmacology is a three-year postgraduate course that students pursue after MBBS. This course is the study of drugs, their sources, their nature, and their properties and reaction of these drugs on human bodies. The field helps to analyze development in therapeutics and drugs. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics and Biology as mandatory subjects
  • Completed MBBS or an equivalent degree from a recognized university
  • At least an aggregate of 55% of marks in MBBS degree or an equivalent degree
  • Some universities also require applicants to appear for entrance exams and work experience in the related field
