MCA Colleges in India: Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility requirements (which may vary by college) for pursuing MCA:

Candidates must, according to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),:

• Hold a BCA/ BSc/ BCom/ BA degree with Mathematics as one of the courses studied in Class 12 or graduation.
• A minimum aggregate of 50%-60% (a CGPA of 6/10 or above is deemed desirable) in Bachelor with 55% or higher in Class 12.

MAH MCA CET: The Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test, abbreviated as MAH MCA CET, is an entrance test for MCA programmes provided by several government and private universities in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell administers the exam online as a Computer Based Test every year. On March 27, the MAH MCA CET test 2023 was held. Once the solution key is released, a direct link to download it will be provided here. The MAH MCA CET result 2023 is expected in the last week of April.

TANCET: Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, abbreviated as TANCET, is an entrance test held to fill PG seats in Tamil Nadu colleges across all programmes. Anna University administers the state-level entrance test for a variety of PG degrees, including MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME, MBA, and MCA. The TANCET 2023 results will be available on April 15.

Are there MCA Colleges Abroad?

Courses and degree programs in Computer Science are offered all over the world.
