HEC Paris MIM Course Structure 

The award-winning curriculum of the HEC Paris MIM program is a model in itself. Combining expert knowledge with flexibility, the course operates in a three-stage process, namely, M1 (core phase), a gap year for professional experience gaining (optional) and the M2 (specialization phase).

M1: Core Phase 

The first year of the HEC Paris MIM programme focuses on the broad field of business and management, which is essential for a diverse and successful career. A number of mandatory general management courses, as well as a variety of elective courses, make up the curriculum. Optional Gap Year

Eligibility 

The HEC Paris MIM program is open to high-level applicants with little or no professional experience, of all nationalities who:

  • Have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree with 180 ECTS in any field of study (Engineering, Social Sciences, Sciences, Arts, etc.).
  • Applicants are eligible to apply in the same year as they receive their bachelor’s degree.
  • Have a GMAT score that is acceptable.
  • Have a competent GMAT score. 
  • Having a French language proficiency is not an admission criterion.

Admission Documents

Apart from fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria, one needs to attach the following documents to be considered for the HEC Paris MIM program: 

  • Latest academic transcripts inclusive of official GPA and any exchange programs.
  • Certificate of enrollment, i.e, degree certificate
  • Test scores of GRE/GMAT/TAGE MAGE
  • Letter of Recommendation: 2
  • English Language Test Scores: IELTS/TOEFL/ TOEIC/Cambridge
  • Updated resume or CV

  • No less than 60 months old passport-sized photos where only the head and shoulders are visible.

Admission Calendars 

For the upcoming academic year, students have 2 alternatives for applying (September 2022). Students must select just one option; for example, if you apply to HEC directly, you will not be able to apply to Join a School in France (ex SAI), and vice versa. Only the first validated application for the September 2022 intake will be accepted if an application is submitted both through Join a School in France and directly through HEC.

Fees and Living Costs 

The average course fee of the HEC Paris MIM programme for international students is €43,500 (INR 37,79,045 approx.). Academic years are charged throughout the first two years with  €2,400 (INR 2,08,499) if a gap year is taken. After the final results are revealed, admitted students will be requested to confirm their seats within three weeks, with a non-refundable deposit of €5,000 (INR 4,34,373) withheld from their total tuition fees.

HEC Scholarships 

HEC Paris has been committed for many years to allowing the most outstanding international students to pursue their studies at their prestigious business school.

The HEC Foundation Excellence Scholarships have been made possible thanks to the generous support of the HEC Paris Foundation’s alumni and corporate partners.

Eligibility All candidates admitted to one of HEC Paris’ master programmes with a non-French diploma (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree). 
Academic excellence, the overall strength of the application, the results of the selection interview, and the candidate’s GMAT/GRE/TAGE-MAGE performance are used to make the final decision for HEC Foundation Excellence Scholarships. Tuition expenses are reduced via scholarships.
Process The HEC Foundation Excellence scholarship is automatically considered for all admitted students with a non-French diploma (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree). There is no need for an additional document.
Deadline This scholarship’s results will be emailed to you within two weeks of your acceptance and before the confirmation deadline.

Who is eligible for MIM in France?

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized institution is essential for MIM in France. However, candidates with 2-3 years of work experience in a leadership or managerial position are preferred for the course.

What GPA do you need for HEC Paris MIM?

HEC Paris mentions no specific GPA for MIM prorgam. However, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. Moreover, the must have good academic record for admission to HEC Paris MIM.

Can I get into MIM without GMAT?
