Additional Information: Students who have been assigned as INSPIRE interns or who have benefited from STEM internships at the university are not eligible to apply further through this fund because those jobs are already covered by the Career Development Bursary. As a result, any bursary payment received counts toward the maximum INR 95K award and supports students who represent the university at the Eisteddfod.

The Career Development Bursary is designed to help with travel and lodging expenses associated with job experience. The work experience cannot be a requirement for a course’s work placement component.

Course Costs Bursary

This bursary is to help with the price of the course for each and every student taking it (minimum 40 credits). Students applying for course-related expenditures may receive up to INR 23K in support. Specialized textbooks, specialized tools, etc. may be included in course-related fees. Although students may submit several applications for support requests that total less than INR 23K, the total amount that may be granted to each student in a given academic year is INR 23K.

Placements Bursary

This bursary is to help the students with the expenditures of the required placement activity. Under this, up to INR 23K is available to help students who are required to complete a placement as part of their programme. This scholarship is typically given as compensation after receiving purchase receipts. Applications to the Student Financial Support Fund are recommended when students are unable to cover expenditures in advance.
