Visa and Residence Permit Requirements

Whichever country your internship program is based in, you will need a short term visa for that country. As the duration of the internship has to be between 2 months to 12 months, the visa required will be temporary and short term in nature. 

All the visa guidelines and application procedures will be central to the country chosen for the internship program. For the visas and permits, you must consult your home country, the country you study in and the university you are enrolled for the program to help you through the process. 

It is mostly the employer who provides the sponsorship letter for a visa be it the university in another country or an organisation. Moreover, it is imperative to make sure that the required permissions, authorisations and visa and residence permit applications are in order well in advance.
