If I have taken the IELTS (Academic) in 2020 and the overall band is 7.5, and I would like to apply for admission 2023, do I need to retake the test again. Moreover, I am studying lower sixth form in UK and I will sit for A Level English Literature in June 2023.
Hello, Wong Mick!
The validity of an IELTS score lasts for 2 years. So, if you are planning to start your application process in the year 2023, it is recommended that you should take the IELTS exam again! But if your already existing IELTS score validity matches with the deadline for applying in the year 2023 then there is no need!
