Nanyang Technological University was established in 1955 with its campus in Yunnan Garden. The university collaborated with the University of Singapore to form a National University in 1980. Singapore University included three engineering schools in the campus of Nanyang University along with the Department of Applied Sciences. In 2004, the University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University became two independent universities.

Singapore Management University

Singapore Management University was set up in 2000, it is a private university. In the year 1997, the Singapore government appointed a businessman whose name was Ho Kwon Ping to assist the creation and development of the university. In 1999, the Wharton Research Centre collaborated with the university through the Wharton-SMU agreement. As a result, SMU formed four schools, three centers, and a library in the year of the agreement. Notably, the university  follows the American curriculum and it’s famous for that.

PSB Academy

It was founded in 1964, PSB Academy is a highly-ranked private institution of higher education in Singapore.

Earlier, it was a subdivision of the National Productivity Board named the Management Services Supervisory Development division. In the year 1988, the division was formalised into a full-fledged institution under the name Institute for Productivity Training. PSB Academy offers Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in Singapore.
