History, Affiliations and Rankings
Founded in 2009, the Singapore University of Technology and Design is a public college that is purported to build technically-grounded individuals. A global research-intensive University, it offers rigorous curriculums focused on science and technology-based design education. SUTD has affiliations with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University and the Singapore Management University. The Singapore University of Technology and Design campus consists of a sports centre, recreation centre, fitness centre, cafeterias, the Center for Writing & Rhetoric, and a library with thousands of books, journals, and research papers.
