Class Structure of ISB PGP in Management
“The objective of education is learning, not teaching.”
Indian School of Business strongly believes that students learn through exposure and experiences. The journey begins right at the moment they step into the ISB campus. Students learn the most from their classmates’ experiences that come from different cultural and industrial backgrounds. Each student of ISB PGPM has 2-6 years of working experience to back the management program. This helps every candidate have a wider perspective as they are open to multiple interpretations. ISB has 600 seats at the Hyderabad campus, and 288 seats in Mohali. Each student is given a ranking on the bases of their profiles and then divided into groups of seven. The first five students are sent to ISB Hyderabad and the remaining two are sent to Mohali. The institute makes sure that each campus has similar crowd quality by taking their GMAT scores, work experience, gender ratio, academic qualification, etc to attain a similar crowd at both campuses.

What does it take to get into ISB?
Some say a 730+ can get you to your ISB dream, while some take the great working experience to be a benchmark that could guarantee your admission to ISB’s flagship program. Well, let’s break this to you! There are absolutely no set parameters based on which ISB shortlists candidates. What ISB wants for real, is a candidate who believes in his potential to become a future leader, who is hungry to learn more, who has a proven record of excellence and who is passionate to make the most of the given opportunities.
Since ISB believes in nurturing talents that would become future entrepreneurs, they do not restrict evaluation only to the academic achievements of an applicant. While a great GMAT score can step up your game, an applicant’s interpersonal skills play an equal role in getting you into ISB’s flagship program, ISB PGP in Management. Students with a score between “600-780” have made it to ISB. With this, personal attributes like communication skills, leadership skills, ability to handle pressure and more are also taken into account while evaluating an applicant’s profile.
Students need to identify their strengths and write a convincing essay that shall prove their worth to the university for which they can ask for help from the experts at Leverage Edu. Along with this, candidates’ presentation skills, confidence, and multi-tasking abilities are also taken into account while short-listing applications.
