Bollywood’s Desi Girl, Priyanka Chopra was introduced to social work at a young age of nine. She was also appointed India’s official UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for promoting girls’ education. Being one of the major celebrities fighting for education around the world, she started The Priyanka Chopra Foundation to promote education in 2020 and donates 10% of her earnings to the foundation annually. Apart from UNICEF, she also supports lesser-known not-for-profit organisations like Nanhi Kali and Save Girl Child in India which fight for and support the education of female children in India. The National Award-winning actress is a youth icon as she’s an inspiration to various girls all around the world.
