Priyanka Chopra was born on July 18, 1982, in Jamshedpur, India. Her father Ashok Chopra and Madhu Chopra, both physicians in the Indian Army, supported in her endeavours right from the beginning. At the age of 13, she moved to the US where she was enrolled in schools like Newton in Massachusetts and John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It was in Massachusetts that she participated in many theatre productions and studied western classical music. After residing for 3 years in the US, she came back to India and completed her studies from Army School in Bareilly. She chose to finish her graduation from Jai Hind College, Mumbai.
