Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarships

These merit-based scholarships were initiated by Mr Narotam Sekhsaria. These scholarships are mainly for students who have academic excellence and wish to pursue a postgraduate degree at prestigious institutions. These scholarships help students with their tuition fees. 

• Eligibility 

1. This scholarship is mainly for Indian students below 30 years of age as of January 31st, 2022. 
2. If you want to apply for this scholarship, you must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution.
3. Only after securing admission to the institution you be eligible for this scholarship.

• Application Process

You must pay an application fee of INR 500, followed by filling in the online application form. The application started on January 05, 2022, and the deadline for the application is March 16, 2022.

Women Techmakers Scholars Program

Founded as the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship program, the Women’s Techmakers Scholars program is one of the scholarships awarded by Google. This scholarship aims at creating gender equality in society. Further, this scholarship is awarded based on academic performance, skills, and the impact of women in the tech field. 

• Eligibility

If you want to apply for this scholarship, you are first required to qualify for the following criteria. 

1. You are first required to identify as a female.
2. Then, you must be in your first or second year of an undergraduate degree.
3. You must have an excellent academic record.
4. You must be enrolled at an officially recognized university in a full-time undergraduate program.
5. Computer science, computer engineering, or any technical programs are only considered for this scholarship.

• Application process

The maximum amount awarded in this scholarship is USD 100 or INR 74,390. You are required to submit essays, CV, etc. After completing this step, you must attend a 15-minute Meet and Greet session if you are a shortlisted candidate, followed by Google Online Challenge.
