• Holland Government Scholarships 

The Holland Government Scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in the Netherlands. The scholarship is for non-EEA students. Students applying for this scholarship should not have educational qualifications from an institution in the Netherlands. 

Scholarship Benefits: The grant is awarded for one year and will be rewarded once. The scholarship amounts to GBP 5,000 (INR 4.68 lacs) . It will be given in the first year of your studies.

• Kazakhstan Government Scholarships – ENIC Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan Government Scholarships are available for full-time study in Bachelor, Master’s, and PhD programmes for foreign students, including Kazakh nationals who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and are also open for foreign applicants. The scholarships are located as follows:

• Bachelor’s degree program – 490
• Master’s degree program – 50
• PhD – 10

Applicants are allowed to submit documents online from 7 June to 20 July. The application form is available in Kazakh, English and Russian.

• Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program 

The Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program is open to students from developing countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries’ development efforts who are applying to a master’s degree program in a development-related topic. • Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarships for Young Leaders Program

For extraordinarily qualified individuals who have been accepted to GRIPS, full scholarships are available. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, and there are only a limited number of them available. Candidates must be international students who have been recommended by the Japanese Embassy/Consulate General, a university, or a government agency in Japan.

Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship provides for a monthly stipend of 242,000 yen per month (INR 1.34 lacs) (rate in FY 2019; the amount is subject to change) in order to cover living expenses including food, clothing, and other daily expenses, as well as accommodation, transportation, medical treatment, insurance, and various miscellaneous expenses related to the study at GRIPS. This amount is fixed. The scholarship also covers the university application fee, admission fee, and tuition. • Hubert Humphery Fellowships for International Students, USA 

The Hubert Humphery Fellowship Program is a non-degree programme that offers non-degree academic education and related professional experience in the United States for 10 months and among the popular urban planning scholarships.
