A- The idea that the globe has essentially become a global village is true. Because of this, businesses must compete fiercely to keep up with the market’s intense competition. Given this, some analysts believe that top management in a firm should take comments or ideas from employees into account before making choices or implementing new ideas, while others believe that they should act independently. Before drawing a logical conclusion, this essay will present both arguments in support of the disagreement.
Before making crucial decisions for the organization, higher-ups should take the views or ideas of the workforce into account. First and foremost, a big factor can be your work experience. It is typically seen that the bulk of those employed in the specific field have developed into seasoned experts with a variety of practical skills that the management may utilize to their advantage when making decisions. The food processing sector, which includes sectors like harvesting, sorting, filling, packaging, and labelling, among others, might serve as an example of this reality. In order to make judgements, the right employees need to be involved. Employee participation in decision-making makes a great first impression and motivates them to perform better. The workers begin to feel like a part of the business, and their output considerably rises. This is also a successful strategy for containing industrial worker rebellion.
Despite the opinions mentioned above, there are certain organizations that believe management should not take into account employee comments or ideas when making decisions. The opponent’s perspective may be largely motivated by management responsibility. In certain organizations, the senior management is thought to be in charge of making the greatest decisions and innovations for a brighter future because they think people contribute ideas or proposals for their own personal interests.
In conclusion, it is clear that firm managements have greater obligations to consider the viability of implementation for a healthy future; yet, in my opinion, lower-level employees have vast professional knowledge. Employees cannot, therefore, be disregarded without a valid reason, and each choice the company makes should always take into account their opinions.
