The University of Liverpool has two 24-hour libraries, namely, the Sydney Jones and the Harold Cohen that comprise a whopping 2 million books and 40,000 electronic journals. 

There is also a Sports Centre which consists of a 25-metre swimming pool, two sports halls, a dance studio, a comprehensive fitness suite, weight training rooms, four squash courts and beyond. Further, there are many cafes in the campus such as the Augustus John Public House, Vine Court as well as the Guild of Students Food Court where students often meet between their classes to socialise and enjoy their breaks. You can also visit the university’s rich cultural galleries like Victoria Gallery & Museum, the Garstang Museum of Archaeology, the Liverpool Confucius Institute, amongst others. 

For basic utilities and essentials, the campus also has several shops and banks. The city centre is also situated at a minimal distance with a short walk away down the Brownlow Hill.
