The applicant must complete the online IU Graduate School application form for Jacobs School of Music available on the INDIANA UNIVERSITY BLOOMINGTON admission webpage.

Step 2: Fill out an application to the Jacobs School of Music.

Submit your Jacobs School Supplemental Application. 

Deadline: 1 December
Application fee: $95.

The applicant should also include the following with this application:

  1. Pre-screening materials (if applicable)
  2. Email addresses for 3 recommenders who will receive a secure link to upload their letters after you submit this application.

Step 3: Completion of the audition and/or interview

The applicant must complete an audition and/or interview, as applicable to their choice of program. This can be checked at the concerned department’s audition page for information on the requirements.

Step 4: Tuition Costs

If the University’s results are favourable, the student will be required to pay tuition fees and sign a contract agreement with them.
