What is APTET?
The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, organizes the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) to assess applicants’ eligibility to teach in all Andhra Pradesh schools (Government, ZP, MP, Municipal, Recognized Private Aided & Private Unaided, etc.). The APTET 2022 will be held in all 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh by the Department of School Education of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. APTET 2022 will be conducted as a computer-based test online (CBT). The official notice of APTET states, “The purpose is to establish National Standards and benchmarks of Teacher quality in the recruiting process in compliance with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).” The AP TET test is held once a year, usually in the month of October.

AP TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

- The candidate must be between 18-40 years at the time of applying.
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Fill APTET Application Form
Candidates must fill out the APTET 2022 application form online at the exam’s official website. Before filling out an application form for the APTET test, candidates should read the information bulletin carefully.
Release of APTET Admit Card
Candidates must obtain their APTET Hall Ticket from the exam’s official website. The admit card is a crucial document, and candidates who do not have a valid hall ticket on the day of the test will be unable to take the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates must provide login data such as registration number or roll number, date of birth or password to download the APTET admission card.
Appearing in APTET Exam
Candidates must attend the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test on the date, time, and location specified on their hall ticket. For each paper, the APTET test lasts 150 minutes. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are the two papers in the APTET. Candidates applying to teach in grades 1 to 5 must take Paper 1, while those applying to teach in grades 6 to 8 must take Paper 2.
Declaration of APTET Result
The APTET result is available on the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test’s official website. Candidates must pass this test in order to be hired as teachers in state schools for grades 1 through 8. Candidates must get minimum qualifying marks to pass the test.
AP TET Exam Pattern
The exam has two papers out of which Paper-I is for teaching at the primary level (Class I-V) while Paper-II is for teaching at the upper primary level (Class VI-VIII). Paper-II is further divided into Paper-II (a) and Paper-II (b). A total of 150 objective questions are asked and the allotted time is 2.5 hours. Paper-I
It gives you the free hand to choose any of the six available languages as the preference for Language-I, but the candidate should have studied the chosen language up to the class 10th. APTET Exam Centres 2023
The APTET is held online in 13 districts and centers across the state, including Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai. Candidates must select their preferred district. If a district or center’s session capacity is full, the applicant must choose another day and session from among the remaining districts. If an applicant fails to select an examination center by the deadline, the education department will do so. The department has the right to assign centers, and requests for changes to centers or exam sessions are not permitted under any circumstances.Candidates are assigned a test center based on their top five selections. The exam centers for APTET 2022 have yet to be announced.

AP TET 2023 Admit Card
The hall ticket may be downloaded from the official website by the candidates. The following are the specifications of the APTET 2022 Admit Card:
- If a candidate is unable to download the Hall ticket, he or she may contact the Joint Director, TET of the Commissioner of School Education, Anjaneya Towers, Ibrahimpatnam, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5.30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Candidates will not be given a duplicate hall ticket under any circumstances.
- The Candidate’s Name, Exam Details, Cemte Name, Date, and Time will all be included on the admission card.
- For verification reasons, candidates must bring the following identification to the exam center with their admit card.
- For future reference, candidates should print several copies of their admission cards.
