Eligibility Criteria

Lower Primary TET (I-V)

Upper Primary TET (VI-VIII) 

  • Bachelors degree and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education
  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks in 1 year BEd (Bachelor of Education) Programme

Assam TET: Application Form and Fee

Assam TET aspirants can visit the official website and fill up the registration form online. You will have to enter the academic as well as personal details carefully in order to avoid any sort of error. Afterward, the candidates have to upload the scanned copy of their photograph, signature, and other required documents. The application fee for the exam differs based on the category the applicants belong to. Here is the general registration fee:

  • General Category: 325 INR
  • Reserved Category: 300 INR 

Exam Pattern 

The format of the exam is devised intricately to examine the aspirants who are willing to shape the future of the country, on various parameters. Assam TET, which is conducted in an offline mode, is bifurcated into two parts i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total weightage of the papers is 200 marks each and there will be no negative marking.
