ACT Exam In India: An Overview
The ACT or American College Testing is a standardized test for taking admission into US and Canadian universities. However, ACT scores are readily accepted across the globe to apply for any bachelor’s course. Applicants get a chance to opt either for a computer or paper-based applications and the scores stay valid up to 5 years. ACT exam in India is as popular as the SAT.

What ACT Exam Covers?
There are subjects which fall under the belt of ACT in India, are English, Mathematics, Reading and Science. If you are well versed and already have a good hold of subjects mentioned above, then clearing the ACT exam might not be a difficult task for you.

Eligiblity Criteria for ACT Exam in India
In order to give the ACT Exam in India, a candidate must be a high school student or pass-out. Most of the students who take this test are 13+ years old. It is mandatory for candidates to have a valid passport while filling out the application form. Also, to pay the registration fee, applicants must have an international VISA/Debit or Credit card.
According to the examination choice of a student, a different fee is charged for ACT Exams in India. As the exam comes with two options the charges for the test varies in accordance with the choice made by the candidate. The table given below concentrates on the same:

Test date change can be made by paying 32 USD whereas late registration could be done by paying an additional 30 USD.
For holistic understanding, the ACT exam in India is being conducted in two formats – with and without writing. As compared to the SAT, ACT exam in India concentrates more on the curriculum-based learning instead of raw aptitude. The test is 3 hours long, whereas those who have an extra writing section will be sitting for an extra 40 minutes in the exam hall.
