Academic Qualifications

  • The standard entry requirements for law are A Level – BBB-BBC, IB -31-32 or equivalent alternative qualifications. Applications to Buckingham are individually reviewed by the Admissions Tutor and other factors may be considered. 
  • Applicants with BTEC qualifications are welcome to apply even if you have a mix of BTEC and A Levels. Equivalent A Level qualifications (e.g. ABD equivalent to BBC) are also accepted. If an applicant takes the EPQ in conjunction with A Levels, the EPQ will be considered and result in a slightly lower A Level degree being offered.

  • Higher Secondary Certificate or Standard 12 (awarded after completing class 12) with four subjects at 50%.
  • In addition to the minimum admission requirements, international students from non-English speaking countries must demonstrate their English proficiency through IELTS or TOEFL or equivalent test to be admitted to this program.
