Eligibility Criteria  

For those who aspire to study at The University of Liverpool, there are certain entry requirements to qualify before applying for a programme. Take a look at the general prerequisites specified by the university for Indian Nationals for Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research-

Postgraduate Research	Students must undertake a master’s degree and achieve good results (First diviso/ 60% or above)

English Language Requirements 

• Candidates must satisfy a minimum of CEFR B2 level in every component- Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing as this is the minimum score acceptable for getting a UK Tier 4 visa
• The students who have secured 70% or above in English in class 12th are exempted from the IELTS exam (Non-Clinical/Health courses only)

Scholarships to Study at The University of Liverpool 

To accommodate students from varied backgrounds, the university offers a plethora of scholarships for different-level courses. Here is a list of scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at The University of Liverpool.

Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship UG	£2,000 (80% in class XII) or £2,500 (90% in class XII) fee reduction for the first year of study
University of Liverpool First Class Scholarship	£1000 fee reduction for each year only if a student maintains a First Class (70%) average is maintained. Please note that this Scholarship only applies to non-clinical programmes.

Postgraduate Course	Details
University of Liverpool Postgraduate Commonwealth Bursary	Fee reduction of £2,000 for Commonwealth students
Chevening Scholarship	It covers the entire funding of the programs and the cost of living (Application is necessary)
Postgraduate Progression Award- International Students	Reduction of £2,500 if the candidate has a First Class Undergraduate Degree from UoL and goes on to study a Master’s programme at UoL
Vice-Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship- PGT	£2,500 Reduction in tuition fee for the new international students starting their master’s course in September 2020 who have a UK-First class undergraduate degree with First Class or equivalent (BEng/BTech: 70%, all other degrees: 65%)
Sport Liverpool Scholarship	Up to £2,000 to support sporting performances (Application is necessary)
University of Liverpool International College Excellence Award	£2,500 Reduction in tuition fee for the students who have achieved an average of 75% or above in the UoLIC Pre-Masters programme

Note: Applicants will automatically be considered for all of the Scholarships above (where relevant). Except for Chevening Scholarship and Sports Liverpool Scholarship which require a separate application.
