Q- Describe something that was broken in your home and then repaired.

A- Well, I can remember the incident like it was yesterday. As a corporate professional, my work gadgets are quite important to me and I cannot even bear the thought of continue working without them. I broke my tablet a few months back while using it at work and I was required to pay for its repair even though it was not my responsibility.

Our country was in a state of lockdown as a result of the Corona Pandemic and I had no choice but to do my business from home.

We may comfortably complete our office and study tasks on the bed at home. As I work primarily on my iPad, I began utilizing it on my bed. And one day, while I was working on the same on my bed, my sister sat on it and broke it.

It was a difficult effort for me to get the tablet fixed because the administration had shut down the stores because of the shutdown. I had made the decision to seek out a home-based vendor.

However, it was a tough call due to the pandemic. Finally, I was able to locate a tablet repair specialist after making a lot of calls and searching everywhere. And him staying near my place was a cheery on the cake as it really sped up the entire process. He spent three hours working hard to fix it and I had to pay 5,000 Rs out of my own pocket for the same.

I had a sigh of relief after having the tablet back in working order. Even though it functions perfectly, the damage is still evident and this is why I can still recall it.
