In the table mentioned below, you can easily check your overall score. Let us consider an example 

Rohan got 37 in the verbal section and 42 in the quant section then, by checking the value 37 in the row ‘V’ and value 42 in column ‘Q’ we can check the scores. Then the GMAT score of Rohan would be 650.

GMAT Scoring Scale

The GMAT exam includes 4 sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Integrated Reasoning and Analytical Writing Assessment. As GMAT is an adaptive test which means the level of difficulty will increase as you correctly attempt a question. Therefore, the number of questions you attempt plays a crucial role in the exam.

Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning both are scored on a scale form 6-51. AWA or Analytical Writing Assessment is scored on a scale from 0-6. Total GMAT score is on a scale from 200-800.

What is a good GMAT score?

A good GMAT score ranges from 700 to 740.

What is the questions distribution in the GMAT exam?

In GMAT, 31 questions are asked from the quantitative section, 36 questions are of verbal reasoning. Integrated reasoning section has 12 questions and only a single AWA question is asked.

Can I take GMAT online?

A candidate can take the GMAT exam online or at a test center or both.
