IELTS Cue Card Describe An English Lesson That You Enjoyed

More than 1000 universities and colleges in more than 140 nations across the world recognise IELTS results. Reading, writing, speaking, and listening are the other three elements of the test. Although the IELTS speaking section is regarded as the easiest of all the sections, part 2, often known as the IELTS speaking cue card round, can be challenging. In this blog, we have briefly discussed the IELTS cue card speaking topic “Describe an English class/lesson that you enjoyed”.

About IELTS Cue Card

In the IELTS speaking exam, the applicant will have exactly one minute to be ready to talk about a particular subject, known as the IELTS speaking cue card or candidate task card. The examiner provides them with a card that contains the directions for their lecture. Before being asked to halt by the examiner, their conversation should last for around two minutes. The examiner will ask one or two questions to conclude. It takes three to four minutes to issue the IELTS cue card/candidate task card, plus one minute for preparation. The IELTS cue card round is when the candidate’s confidence is tested. The style of presenting, the art of speaking, the body postures, and the methods used to evaluate the provided issue have a key part in scoring higher in the IELTS cue card round when intelligence and all other academic knowledge are less important.

Following is the sample answer for “Describe an English class/lesson that you enjoyed”:

I had trouble with the English language in school. I had to take a few English lessons, as a result, to get better at the language. Few of the classes I have heard of have been particularly uninteresting, except for one thrilling class, which I loved attending. I’d want to talk about my experience in this class, which was fun.

The majority of the lesson dealt with English grammar. However, this class was unique since it placed more emphasis on complex grammar than on simple grammar.

The fact that I learnt about advanced grammar for the first time in this class—I had no idea what it was before—made it even more astonishing.

I can very clearly recall taking this course in high school. I was in my 12th standard at the time. This course was delivered by Mr Devang. He excitedly teaches the most difficult ideas since he is a specialist in the field of language teaching. I picked up a tonne of new skills in this lesson. I learned several useful strategies for enhancing grammar under the direction of my English tutor.

In addition to this, he also educated us on many other grammar-related issues, including articles, connecting verbs, and determiners.

I’ll be completely honest—I liked this class. However, there is a motive for my interest in this course. Students typically perceive grammar instruction to be tedious. A 10-minute class might make a pupil feel tired. But in this session, everyone was enthusiastic and focused on the material, including me. I have to admit that Mr Devang’s teaching approach was intriguing. This was all about an enjoyable English lesson, then.
