Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET)
MAH HM CET is conducted to select students for full-time undergraduate Hotel Management and catering courses. This course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the duration of this reputed course is 4 years. It is mainly conducted in online mode and the minimum eligibility for the exam is 45% marks in 10+2.
West Bengal Joint Entrance for Hospitality Management (WB JEHOM)
This test is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. This exam helps eligible and qualifying candidates to get admission to the undergraduate program. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (UPSEE BHMCT)
This is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The allotment of seats for this exam is decided by the Constitution of the Admission Board (CAB). The course offered under the UPSEE BHMCT is Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology spanning 3 years in duration.
University-Level Hotel Management Entrance Exams
Conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, IPU CET for Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (3 years). This exam is conducted once a year and it offers admission to colleges that are affiliated with GGSIPU the applications are out by the 1st week of April every year.
CUET is another prominent university-level entrance exam for admission into Christ University’s Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) course. It is a 4-year bachelor’s program with a total number of 60 seats. The eligibility criteria for this course is that the candidate must have completed his +2 in any stream from any of the recognized boards in India.
Punjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT)
Punjab University conducts PUTHAT as an entrance exam for its two popular 3-year bachelor’s courses, i.e. Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management. Any candidate who has passed 10+2 from CBSE or equivalent exam from a recognized Board is eligible for this test.

The Oberoi Group administers this test to provide admission to two programs: “The Hotel Operations Programme” and “The Kitchen Operations Programme.” The program is designed to teach applicants in hotel key operating departments and provides practical training to qualified candidates at their assigned Oberoi Group hotels around the nation. Candidates will obtain a Bachelor of Tourism Studies (BTS) degree from IGNOU as well as a “Certificate of Proficiency” from The Oberoi Group upon satisfactory completion of the program.
