Eligibility

In most Scottish universities, a 2.1 (i.e. upper second) bachelor’s degree or international equivalent is required for admission to the LLM program, with prescribed English skills certificates if necessary. An LLM program in Scotland lasts between 1-2 years, depending on whether you study full-time or part-time. To calculate the cost of an LLM in Scotland, take into account the tuition fees as well as your estimated living expenses. Tuition fees for the entire program range from £12,000 to £15,000 (INR 10,05,972.00 to INR 12,58,752.68), depending on the institution and whether you are studying full or part-time.

UK Visa Requirements

To study in Scotland, you may need to apply for a UK visa, depending on your country of origin. In general, overseas students wishing to pursue studies at any level must apply for a Tier 4 (General) student visa. As long as your program is longer than six months, you will be able to come to Scotland up to one month before your course begins. The length of your visa is determined by the length of your course.
