Additional Allowances
Besides the monthly stipend, the Konrad Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship offers numerable subsidies for scholars upon request. The prerequisites for children’s allowance are submitting an official German translation of the child’s birth certificate and the official rejection of your demand for public child allowance. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship does not fund participation in congresses or symposia. Additional course fees at the university directly related to your studies can be refunded up to the amount of € 1.500 per semester. The KAS Foundation does not refund regular semester fees of enrollment or annual re-registration.

They also remain committed to the foundation and its current scholars. Being a recipient of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship means benefitting from a scheme of ideational support. Scholars become part of an active and living network. The program is based on three main pillars:
- Personal contact and mentoring.
- A broad seminar program – with over 180 activities annually- for all the 3000 scholars in Germany.
- Regional and local activities of more than 140 different university groups.
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship Eligibility
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship Program is for international students and graduates who have acquired a university degree. Candidates that intend to complete postgraduate or master studies, doctoral studies, or a research stay of at least three semesters in a German university can apply for the scholarship.

- Students in Medicine or Pharmacy can only apply after completing their intermediate exam in Germany or having achieved a comparable stage of their education.
- Human or dental medicine specialist training or postgraduate research stays in Germany cannot be supported.
- Persons who have already completed a doctorate are not eligible.

Candidates who wish to secure the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship must fill out an application form at https://campus.kas.de. Candidates residing near Focus regions can submit a written application straight to the KAS office, while candidates residing in Germany can apply through the domestic online process for the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship. Here is the stepwise process of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship:
- Create an account on the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship portal at https://campus.kas.de using your email ID or mobile number.
- You will receive login details on your registered contact number.
