Application Process and Timeline

The Cambridge application timeline is quite different from that of other UK Universities. However, you will still have to apply through the UCAS portal. Mentioned below is an easy step-by-step guide for you:

Select a Course

Make sure you select a relevant course that you are genuinely interested in. Also, ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria set by the University for the course you’ve chosen.

Decide the College

Select a college depending on your personal choice. In your UCAS application, you can apply directly to one of Cambridge’s 29 Colleges or you can just make it an open application.

Submit your Application and SAQ

After you’ve submitted your UCAS application, you will be required to fill in an additional form i.e. Supplementary Application Questionnaire (SAQ). The SAQ is supposed to collect information that is not mentioned in the UCAS application. You’ll be sent a link to the SAQ by e-mail.

Written Assessment

Most students are required to take a written admission assessment. It can be either taken before the interview or at the interview. Some students may also be asked to submit examples of their written work.

Only those students who may get a chance to be offered a place are invited to attend an interview.

You will be informed about the decision before the end of January.
