University of California Santa Barbara, USA is a public research university. The origin of the University of California Santa Barbara goes back to the Anna Blake School. The school was founded at the end of the 19th century in the year 1891. At that time, it was used to offer education in the fields of home economics and industrial arts. The university was renamed by the state at the beginning of the 20th century and became Santa Barbara State Normal School. In 1921, the university was renamed again and became Santa Barbara State Teachers College. Ultimately, the university achieved its current name in 1958. The university is accredited by WSCUC. University holds the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation. QS World University ranking 2022 places the institute at #146. THE 2022 University Ranking ranks the university at #68. US News and World Report 2022 ranking University of California Santa Barbara secured the #28 position in the National Ranking & #67 in the global university ranking.
