Chinese higher education establishment Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, often known as SWUFE, is situated in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Sichuan Institute of Finance and Economics was the name of the institution when it was founded in 1925. It changed to its current name in 1985. Over 24000 students are enrolled here at this time. SWUFE is accredited by the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), the World First Class University and First Class Academic Discipline Construction and with Project 211. Southwestern University of Finance and Economics is ranked 89th internationally, 11th in Asia, and 4th globally in Business and Economics by U.S. News & World Report. The Southwestern University of Finance and Economics has two campuses in the Chinese province of Sichuan, in the city of Chengdu. The 116-acre Guanghua campus, which houses the university's principal departments, libraries, and dormitories, serves as the main campus' subsidiary campus. The 264-acre Liulin Campus is operated by the Southwestern University of Finance & Economics.
