Educational Leadership (International) MBA
The Educational Leadership (International) MBA provides a full overview of contemporary education leadership issues and will allow you to apply that theory and research to practice. This program is meant for senior leaders in education,from pre-school settings to those working at the tertiary level, as well as those with a system-wide role and provides them the opportunity to develop as a strategic thinker, a leader of learning and educational improvement and a manager of resources, exploring important national and international debates in and around educational reform, leadership, teaching and learning. The research and development work is carried out by the Department of Learning and Leadership (DLL) at IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society which has an outstanding reputation. This is a distance learning programme and the teaching is classroom focused delivered online, allowing students to continue to operate as global executives while expanding their skills. This course is meant for high performing mid to senior career professionals who are looking to develop their skill set to lead change during uncertainty and take the next leadership step within their organisation. The programme structure stresses the application use of data, technology and information to address critical issues, guide business choices and navigate uncertain situations in a global context. Throughout the programme, students develop a strong foundational understanding of business functions, processes and practises, as well as the ability to extend that base with specialised knowledge in areas such as Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management and Business Analytics. UCL MBA Eligibility Requirements
Business Administration MBA
- A minimum of a second-class Bachelor’s degree from a UK university
- Or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 6.75/10, 5.75/8.0, 5.25/7.0, 3.75/6.0, 3.0/4.0, or 55% where a GPA scale is not used. The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken.
- At least three year’s full-time work experience.
- GMAT or GRE. A minimum GMAT score of 600 is recommended.
Educational Leadership (International) MBA
- A second-class UK Bachelor’s degree from a UK university
- Or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 6.75/10, 5.75/8.0, 5.25/7.0, 3.75/6.0, 3.0/4.0, or 55% where a GPA scale is not used. The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken.
- Or equivalent senior leadership experience.
- All applicants must have relevant professional experience.
Global MBA
- An upper second-class Bachelor’s degree from a UK university
- Or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 7.75/10, 6.25/8.0, 5.75/7.0, 4.25/6.0, 3.3/4.0, or 60% where a GPA scale is not used. The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken
- Or senior executive leadership experience of over two years and more than 7 years total work experience.
- A minimum of five years full-time work experience after completion of an undergraduate degree and before starting the MBA programme at UCL
