NTU-University Scholars Programme

This is an undergraduate scholarship offered by NTU and the full tuition fee of your elected program will be covered. There is no discrimination against any race as this is purely granted on the basics of students’ academic performance. Now let’s check the applicant’s eligibility criteria:

  • You need to submit a referee’s appraisal
  • You need to appear for an Interview before the candidate selection is final

Nayayang Scholarship

This is also an undergraduate NTU scholarship where the full tuition fee of your elected program will be covered plus some miscellaneous expenses. All the direct scholarships of NTU have similar kind of eligibility criteria, terms, conditions, and benefits so the eligibility criteria are again the same as before:

  • You need to write a personal essay
  • You need to submit a referee’s appraisal
  • You need to appear for an Interview before the candidate selection is final 
  • You must maintain a CGPA of 3.5

Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship

As the name suggests this is a graduate scholarship where the full tuition fee is covered and students can even if they are in the final year of their bachelor’s program. All students regardless of their nationality can apply for this scholarship but Singapore’s residential students will receive a bit of priority.

As mentioned earlier that NTU has similar kind of eligibility criteria, it’s the same as the undergraduate scholarships and kindly refer to that.

NTU Research Scholarship

This is a research scholarship for postgraduate students who are full-time researchers and in any kind of PhD or Master’s Program. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee plus SDG 2000 per annum ie. INR 1.6 Lakh. Students who appeared for the Ph.D. Qualifying Examination is eligible for an additional USD 500 ie. INR 40 Thousand. The extra incentives will depend on the candidate’s academic performance and research output. An additional duty as a scholar is you need to assist in teaching studies or administration work for 3-10 hours per week in NTU. Rest the eligibility criteria are the same as before.

Benefits Covered Under Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Scholarships 2023

Here are some of the benefits covered under the NTU scholarships:

  • The full tuition fee will be covered after the tuition grant.
  • Living allowance of SGD 6,500 (INR 4 Lakh) per academic year.
  • Accommodation allowance of up to SGD 2,000 (INR 1.2 Lakh)  per academic year.
    (Applicable only for NTU hostel’s scholarship holders.)
  • Travel grant of up to SGD 5,000 for an overseas program subject to terms and conditions in the Travel Grant Form.
  • Computer allowance of SGD 1,750 (INR 1 Lakh) ( (one-time pay).

  • Open to all nationalities.
  • Should be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate/graduate degree program depending on what scholarship you are willing to apply for.
  • Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ level, Diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma, or Year 10+2 equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent co-curricular records.
  • Strong leadership qualities and potential.

Application Process 

So, the process is you need to head over to NTU’s official website and search for the desired scholarship and process is:

  • Write a 300 words personal essay from the given 3 topics provided in your application form (Choose any 1 Topic)
  • Upload a recent passport-size photo (Digital)
  • Submit a referee’s appraisal online (This cannot be your relative or someone from your family)
