The popular google doodle game inspired by Tokyo Olympics was launched by Google on July 23rd, 2021 and designed by a Japan-based animation company called STUDIO4°C. The game features the main character called Lucky, a feline athlete, similar to the famous Asian lucky cat or the Maneki-Neko. The online game is set in real-time and players can play different games like rugby, table tennis, skateboarding, archery, synchronised swimming, rock climbing and marathons. To win, one has to each sports champion and collect all seven sacred scrolls to win the games and master all the multiple hidden challenges. The entire game makes several references to the popular genres of TV shows and films that are based upon Japanese manga and Japanese culture.
