RBI Internship program

The Reserve Bank of India, like other central government departments, provides paid government internship opportunities to interested students.

Eligibility

  • This internship scheme is only open to individuals who are pursuing research or doctoral degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
  • B.Tech and B.E applicants with appropriate computer expertise, Data Analysis knowledge, and related degrees in Economics, Statistical Science, or Finance would be eligible to attend the RBI internship programme.

Duration

  • This internship programme would last for six months
  • The internship programmes are held in two sessions by the department. The first will take place in January, while the second will begin in July

Application Deadline

  • Applicants are recommended to put in their applications at least 5 months ago in order to obtain a position in the internship projects
  • If an applicant wants to start in January, they must apply in August of the previous year. Candidates must apply in February of the current year to be considered for the July session.

Stipend

  • Each successful candidate will get a stipend of up to Rs 35,000 per month for this internship program.

Directorate General of Foreign Trade Internship program

In recent years, the growth of trade and commerce has made it necessary for countries to collaborate in the business and export sectors. There are specific trading regulations that both sides must adhere to. The Foreign Trade Department is in charge of drafting such legislation. The department offers paid government Internships and here are the details:

Eligibility 

  • Only legal students in their last year are eligible for the internship programme. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in law, management, finance, or economics are also eligible to apply.

Duration

  • The duration of this programme is two months.

Internship Sessions

  • Interested individuals can participate in one of the department’s two internship programmes. The summer session begins in June and runs through July. The winter session begins in December and lasts through January 31st.

Application Deadline

  • Because there are two sessions, the deadline for applying will be different. All applicants interested in participating in the summer and winter programmes must complete the registration process by April 31st and October 31st, respectively.

Stipend

  • All selected interns will get a stipend of Rs. 10,000 from the department.

Corporate Affairs Ministry Internship program

Finance Ministry Internship program

Competition Commission Internship program

Suppose a candidate is interested in working with consumer law and the competitive environment in the consumer market. In that case, they can apply for one of the Competition Commission’s paid government internship programmes. In addition, the department works to eliminate unlawful behaviours.
