Law School Scholarship – UEA

Becoming a lawyer in the UK is not a cakewalk. Also, one of the high-paying jobs in the UK, law education is expensive because of the rigorous competition amongst the top law schools. At the University of East Anglia, postgraduation in law, LLM, costs more than INR 18 lakhs per year. Eligible Courses for the Law School Scholarship

To apply for the Law School Excellence Scholarship, you must apply for any of the LLM courses at the University of East Anglia. The LLM degrees at UEA that you can apply for our- 

• LLM International Commercial Dispute Resolution
• LLM Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law
• LLM Media Law, Policy, and Practice
• LLM International Trade Law
• LLM Masters of Law
• LLM International Commercial and Competition Law
• LLM International Commercial and Business Law

Eligibility Criteria: Law School UAE

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible for a UEA Law School Country Academic Scholarship:

• Own a degree from a global university
• A citizen of one of the nations listed above
• Own a 2:1 classification in your degree (or international equivalent)
• You have received a placement offer for your desired LLM program.

Benefits of the Law School Excellence Scholarship

Every year 8 students from the above eligibility are chosen for the UEA Law School Excellence Scholarship. Whoever wins the scholarship is awarded GBP 8,000 or INR 7.4 lakhs deductible on tuition fees. 

Application Process

There is a separate application form for the Law School Excellence Scholarship which you have to fill out and even attach a 250-word scholarship essay answering the following question- 

How does the course you have applied for help you achieve your career goals and how would your experiences and interests aid the learning of the cohort as a whole?
