The UK and India have inked the new youth mobility partnership scheme, which will provide up to 3,000 visas per year for young professionals from India to live and work in the UK.

A severe labour shortage has been plaguing the UK government, with London at the epicenter of the issue. In comparison to pre-COVID levels, there are 1,225,000 open positions, according to the Office for National Statistics. The door is still open for study abroad aspirants and skilled workers, besides the net immigration increase.
