Digital Nomad visas for foreign remote workers in 2023
Spain intends to introduce its Digital Nomad Visa for international work or study abroad aspirants and foreign remote workers in January 2023 as a part of the new Startup Act.

In order to encourage the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Spain’s Congress of Deputies enacted the first law in Europe, the Law for the Promotion of the Emerging Companies Ecosystem. According to a statement made by the Spanish government, the Startup Law, among other things, eliminates administrative barriers, and tax rebates, and makes regulations simpler in order to promote the formation and investment in new technology-based businesses. Additionally, it aids in boosting the digital nomad visa, which is scheduled to go into effect in January 2023, in luring in foreign talent who are aspiring to work or study abroad. The monthly minimum will be between €2,000 (1.72 Lakh) and €3,000 (2.58 Lakh).

New regulations for start-ups and digital nomads were adopted by the Spanish Parliament last month to lower the Corporation Tax for these groups from 25% to 15% in the first four years of their stay in this nation.
