Everyone Welcomes New UK-India Visa Scheme
Following the launch of the scheme on Wednesday, student groups, officials, and industry experts have all hailed the educational initiative by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The new UK-India Visa that shall come into effect from early next year, and plans to offer up to 3,000 visas to students and professionals (aged between 18 to 30) annually, is being hailed by many entities such as The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and The National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) UK.

The UK-India Young Professionals Scheme will ensure that Indians, as aforementioned, shall receive visas and live and work in the UK for 24 months, as is promised to British Nationals for India.

It can be a great opportunity and a marvelous step to ensure the smooth transition of top talents from India to the UK, and vice-versa, as per student groups and industry experts in the UK.

India shall be the first visa-national country to benefit from such a scheme, This further highlights the strength of the UK-India Migration and Mobility Partnership that was agreed upon last year.

The Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Sunak, said, “I know first-hand the incredible value of the deep cultural and historic ties we have with India. I am pleased that even more of India’s brightest young people will now have the opportunity to experience all that life in the UK has to offer – and vice-versa – making our economies and societies richer.”

More and more students from India are getting the opportunity to move forward with their study-abroad dreams that this scheme helps them bring to realisation. Looking forward to witnessing the strengthening of the living bridge between young Indian and British talent.
